About Us

Teen Ranch is a non-denominational, charitable Christian Sports Resort specializing in summer camps, hockey training, outdoor education, conferences and retreats.  We are located in the beautiful Caledon Hills, which is 45 minutes north of the Pearson International Airport.  We’re committed to excellence in safety, people, programs and facilities.  
 
Our goal is to help people develop physically, socially, mentally and spiritually thereby becoming well rounded, grounded and productive members of society.  Teen Ranch is a member of Christian Camping International (Canada), a worldwide fellowship of camps, dedicated to excellence and sharing the message that God proved His love to us through the life of Jesus Christ.  Biblical principles are taught for practical living and we encourage people to consider their personal relationship with God.

Caledon Teen Ranch is a not for profit, Christian Organization incorporated in 1967, dedicated to the training of young men and women in the physical, mental, spiritual and social aspects of their lives.
Caledon Teen Ranch is a registered charity which simply means that no one can ever receive any personal gain from the organization. If the corporation were dissolved, all proceeds by law would have to be distributed to other charities with similar objectives. This protects those who have donated to the charity. Tax deductible receipts are given for donations received.

Is Teen Ranch a religious place?

It is a Christian camp where we encourage guests to develop physically, socially, intellectually and spiritually ensuring a complete, fulfilled human being.  

What else does Teen Ranch do?

We have developed and continue to support a third world camp in Indonesia working with street kids.  We counsel pro athletes and have conducted team chapels for Toronto Maple Leafs, Blue Jays, Argonauts and Rodeo events.  There is also Teen Ranch in Australia, Scotland, Romania, France, Kenya & Poland.

Who owns Teen Ranch?

It’s a publicly owned, charitable organization founded in 1967.  (Gvn’t Reg.# 0304287-47) ensuring no individual can ever receive any personal gain from it.  If the organization is disbanded, provincial law dictates that all assets must be divided amongst other charities.  It’s administered by a board of directors consisting of businessmen and a camp director who has over 35 years full-time experience.

How is Teen Ranch financed?

By fees paid by campers/guests and donations from the public.  No child is ever knowingly turned away because of financial need.  A scholarship fund cares for those who are in need.  Audited financial statements are available upon request. 

Who can attend Teen Ranch?

Anyone from anywhere, regardless of race, colour or religion. The majority of people come from our local area, across Canada and the USA.  However we have international guests from Australia, Scotland, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Indonesia,, Great Britain, Japan, France, Germany, Sweden, Finland, Hungary, China and Guatemala.

What about the facilities?

Our warmly appointed dining room accommodates small or large groups.  You’ll love our nutritious, dietician approved meals.  The Plough Inn Hotel, beautiful Coach House and Bunkhouses accommodate up to 176 guests in total.  There are meeting rooms of all sizes and an ‘Ice Cream Parlor’ for snacks.

Statement of Faith

"We believe there is one sovereign, eternal God, existing in three persons - Father, Son and Holy Spirit - who are one in nature, attributes and perfection.
We believe the Bible is God's written revelation to man, verbally inspired by Him; equally in all parts, complete and without error in the original documents, accurate and authoritative in all matters, inculding those of faith and life.

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He wa born of a virgin and lived a sinless, perfect life. He was crucified and died as a sacrifice for sins, and as a substitute for sinners. He rose bodily from the dead and ascended to his Father's right hand where He now ministers and intercedes for believers.

We believe that the Holy Spirit is a Divine person, possessing all the attributes of personality and Deity. We recognize His sovereign activity in creation, the incarnation, the written revelation and the work of salvation.

We believe each member of the human race is sinful by nature and choice and regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for the salvation of man. Redemption is accomplished solely by the shedding of Christ's blood and salvation is by grace, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe that every believer through Jesus Christ possesses eternal life and is sanctified and indwelt by the Holy Spirit to live a godly life. The indewelling Holy Spirit works progressively in heart and life of the believer towards true holiness of deed, word and thought as the individual submits himself to the working of God.

We believe that there will be a resurrection of the believer to eternal life with God and of the unbeliever to judgment and eteral punishment apart from the presence of God.

We believe that the personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ for His church is imminent. This will be followed by the outpouring of Christ's Kingdom, which He will deliver up to the Father that God may be All in All."
